Vale - Gary Page & Don Ingram

The Old Mentonians' Football Club is mourning the passing of two of the great members of the Panthers' family.

Gary Page was a foundation member of the club and wore the number 17 guernsey in more than 100 games.  He was leading goal kicker in the senior team in 1969 and 1970. He was a long term committee member and was awarded the Best Club Member award in 1976.  Gary was President of the Club in 1993 and 1994 and was presented with the Club's highest honour, Life Membership, in 1994.  His son, Chris, continued the family tradition, when he played with the Club.

Gary, with his enthusiasm, drive and distinctive sense of humour played a significant role in the history of the Club.

Don Ingram was one of the great Old Mentonians.  He was one of the driving forces behind the formation of the Club, and was a long valued supporter.  The Ingram name will long be revered at the Panthers as Don's brother Peter and his son Sam are both Life Members of the Club.

The contributions of both Gary and Don were outstanding.  The Club extends its condolences to Alison, Same, Andrew, Stuart and Peter Ingram and to Hillary, Chris and Jade Page.
